These cards are designed to introduce young readers to the basics of reading. The words lists are based on High Frequency words

This product includes:
•10 cards which can be printed onto card stock, and there is an orange background for you to print back to back with these so that the cards can be easily sorted into sets,
•They are designed to be used in a variety of games like snap, go fish, bingo, memory games and similar.
•Laminating is recommended for longevity. For use in the classroom, I make sets of 6 doubles for group rotations (2 sets are needed to play the above games) or students can work in pairs and use their individual sets.
•Use the cards to make the sentences suggested on the cards provided, use these as checklists before moving onto the next level set of cards
•Award cards for mastery of each level are included in the set.
•Jigsaw puzzle cards
•Playdough mats – laminated to make words including both UK and US spelling
•Fly swat cards with sight words on are included for those who love to play that game
•Star word cards are also available for variety
•A set of worksheets are included for each word (both UK and US spelling)
•A phonics checklist is included so that students can colour in the stars when mastery is achieved.
