Australian Money- Interactive Game and worksheets Ideal for digital learning

Have fun recognising, counting Australian coins and notes! Engage your Kindergarten and Year One students with this digital math centre activity. Your students will have so much fun using this interactive money resource on their digital device or projected onto your interactive board. Perfect for individual, partner or whole class group work as it is a fun way to assess counting skills where each slide the students can “show what they know”. This majority of the resource is self-checking for as you know, immediate feedback fosters a deeper understanding. However there are some that are pure number talk slides.

This resource is a paperless, digital review and reinforcement activity that must be completed on a laptop or iPad. This activity is not designed to be a “printable” resource. This virtual activity is perfect for distance learning and for students in 1:1 classrooms.

Best of all, students get immediate feedback when they type in an answer.

When the correct answer is selected, the students will be moved onto the next activity slide, if it is incorrect, they will be sent back to try again. There are a range of different money activities in this game. I have also included open ended tasks that can be used for whole class investigations

 How does the activity work?

You have been provided with a link that will open the game in full-screen and prevent students from editing the game or accessing other parts of the slide deck. Additionally, the game has been locked into presentation mode so that student can't exit from it.

 Make sure that you are logged in to the Google account you want this copy saved to. Once you have copied the file onto your own Google Drive ™, you will be able to assign the activity to your students in Google Classroom ™ or share it to their own Google Drives ™.
