GOOGLE classrooms- setting up your students for digital learning.

  2. Ease of use: Google Classroom is user-friendly and easy to use, so it's quick for teachers to set up and students to navigate.

  3. Collaboration: Google Classroom includes tools for collaboration and communication, such as the ability to share documents, participate in discussions, and give feedback on assignments.

  4. Organization: Google Classroom helps teachers keep their courses organized by providing a central location for announcements, assignments, and other materials.

  5. Integration: Google Classroom integrates seamlessly with other Google tools, such as Google Docs and Google Calendar, making it easy for teachers and students to use multiple resources in one place.

  6. Customization: Teachers can customize their Google Classroom settings and course materials to meet the needs of their students.

  7. Tracking: Google Classroom allows teachers to track student progress and see how much time students are spending on assignments.

 

Here are some steps you can take to implement Google Classroom with your students:

  1. Create a Google Classroom account: You will need a Google account to create a Google Classroom. If you don't already have one, you can create one for free by going to classroom.google.com and following the prompts.

  2. Set up your classes: Once you have a Google Classroom account, you can create a new class by clicking on the "+" button in the top right corner and giving your class a name and a section. You can also add a description and a banner image to your class if you wish.

  3. Invite students: To add students to your class, click on the "Students" tab and then click on the "Invite students" button. Enter the email addresses of the students you want to invite and click "Send."

  4. Add assignments and materials: To add assignments and materials to your class, click on the "Classwork" tab and then click on the "+" button to create a new assignment or question. You can also use the "Materials" tab to add files, links, and other resources to your class.

  5. Communicate with students: Google Classroom includes a built-in messaging system that you can use to communicate with your students. To send a message to your entire class, click on the "Classwork" tab and then click on the "Send a message" button. You can also send individual messages to students by clicking on the "Students" tab and then selecting a student's name.
